These days we are much more aware of what we eat and feed our families, and of how our food is produced.
We work closely with a number of local farms and producers to bring you great food.
Much of our fresh produce comes from the market gardens on the fertile soils of Wiltshire., and with daily deliveries we always have a great range of fruit and vegetables.
Local potatoes, carrots, parsnips and herbs, – basics for a warming winter soup.
Lettuce in a range of colours, vine ripened tomatoes, beetroot (it’s so good for you), coriander and basil, and peppers – salad is so good at any time of the year.
Oranges and apples, melons and grapes, lemons and limes, grapes and bananas.
So easy to enjoy your 5 a day.
The beautiful Jersey cows of Ivy House Farm at Beckington produce milk that is full of flavour and goodness.
Farmer Geoff Bowles loves his cows. The cows graze happily on the organic meadows at the farm. Geoff, his family and team take the ‘girl’s’ milk, pasturise and bottle it, and produce a range of creams.
Geoff is quite fussy about who he sells his milk to. He delivers to us, and also to Fortnum & Mason, Selfridges, Harrods and Neal’s Yard, and a few others. Enough said I think!
The Bath Soft Cheese Company, based at Kelston Farm on the edge of Bath have built a great reputation for the quality of their cheese. Delivered to us straight from the farm Graham Padfield and his team ensure that every cheese is in perfect condition for enjoying. Their range of cheese includes Bath Blue, Bath Soft Cheese, Wyfe of Bath and Kelston Park Cheese.
At Prior Park Farm Shop we believe that eggs should not only be good for you, but they should also taste great. That’s why Paxcroft Farm supply our eggs. The Oatley family at Paxcroft Farm have been winning prizes and plaudits since 1924 for the way they care for their flocks and the quality of their eggs.
